The planar laser-induced fluorescence combustion field diagnostic system uses ultraviolet laser excitation to emit specific spectra of combustion components related to the combustion field. The specific spectra are recorded, and through image processing, the concentration of relevant components or combustion field temperature is obtained to determine the combustion conditions and efficiency in different environments.

The application field is mainly used for the combustion of solid propellants, liquid propellants, and gas propellants, studying combustion phenomena such as flames, combustion furnaces/reactors, turbines, high-pressure combustion systems, chemical reactors, and investigating ignition phenomena, shock tubes, and internal combustion phenomena of gasoline and diesel engines. The distribution of OH *, CH *, C2 * and other components, flame temperature, flame position and stability, flame front position and propagation, and ignition phenomenon.
